Come On Now…It Really isn’t That Hard
Are you an intermittent exerciser? Do you yo-yo exercise with starts and stops? One of the primary keys to being successful in an exercise program is consistency. Consistency requires exercise almost every day or every day for years and years.
When you hear that truth do you feel overwhelmed? Like it is just too much too ask? If so, you are looking at it all wrong.
To get the healthful benefits of exercise you need to devote only about two hours per week to your health. Is your health worth two hours a week? This time can be broken up in many ways. You can do 20 minutes a day six days a week. Or you can do one long hike on the weekend and two 30-minute exercise sessions during the week. You can even do mini-workouts of 10 minutes three times a day, four days per week. You can also read or watch television while you ride the exercise bike and then do ten minutes of weight training.
The point is, when your health is concerned, you MUST find a way to work a consistent exercise routine into your daily life.
